Miva Merchant 5.5 Update – Core-17 April, 15th 2009

Miva Merchant just released Core-17 streaming update which addressed several features that many of you have been asking about. Here is a list of a few of the changes that I think will affect most Miva Merchant users.

  • You can now add a product to multiple categories from a new tab within the product edit screen.
  • You can now choose to display the billing address or the shipping address as the primary address during checkout and signup. Up until now you the shipping address was always the primary address.
  • You can now have custom category fields
  • You can sort attributes by number
