Your Email Settings
- Open Outlook
- Go to: tools > Account Settings
- Click “New” to create a new email profile or highlight your email account and click the “Change” button
- Your Name: Type the name you would like your recipients to see when the email is sent to them. Usually this is the senders first and last name.
- E-mail Address: Type your full email address
- Account Type: This can be either POP3 or IMAP (most people choose pop3)
- Incoming mail server: This should just be your domain name. You do not have to add ‘mail’ to the domain name.
- Outgoing mail server: This should just be your domain name. You do not have to add ‘mail’ to the domain name.
- User Name: This should be your full email address
- Password: Type the corresponding password to your email user

Outlook 2007 Email Settings
- Click “More Settings”
- Check box “My outgoing server(SMTP) requires authentication
- Select radio button “Use same settings as my incoming mail server

My Server Requires Authentication
- Click the “Advanced” tab
- Make sure your incoming server port is set to 110
- Set your “Outgoing server (SMTP)” is set to 587

Make sure SMTP port is 587
- Click “OK”
- Click “Next”
- Click “Finish”
- Test an incoming and outgoing email
General Email Settings
- SMTP Server: your-domain-name-.com (replace your-domain-name.com with your actual domain name that you are settings up email for)
- Pop3 / IMAP Server: your-domain-name-.com (replace your-domain-name.com with your actual domain name that you are settings up email for)
- SMTP Port: 587
- Pop3 Port: 110
- IMAP Port: 143
- SMTP Authentication: Password Authentication (The SMTP Server Requires Authentication)
- Incoming and Outgoing Username: email@domain.com (use your full email address)
- Incoming and Outgoing Password: You should have this on file
